Crystal Palace’s star man Michael Olise has reportedly prioritised a move to Manchester United over Liverpool, should the two rivals go head-to-head for his signature this summer, as per ESPN.
It remains to be seen if Chelsea will reignite their pursuit of the winger this year after they thought they had their hands on Olise in the 2023 summer window; the Blues activated his then-£35 million release clause before Palace were able to tie him down to a new four-year deal.
Now, it’s believed the Eagles have inserted a substantially higher clause into Olise’s fresh terms, with speculation suggesting it’s around the region of £60m. They’ll be reluctant to part ways with one of their most prolific talents, but recuperating a significant fee that Oliver Glasner can then use on his targets will soften the blow.
United, meanwhile, are mulling over the future of Antony, who has failed to make any lasting impact in his two years at Old Trafford, despite costing an outrageous £86m. ESPN cites that the Brazilian could be shifted in order to make way for Olise, with the 22-year-old more Premier League-proven.
