Loaned to his training club Corinthians for the second part of the 2023/2024 season, Gabriel Moscardo (18 years old), officially recruited by Paris Saint-Germain last January, is preparing to discover the French capital. Having undergone surgery on his left foot following a problem detected during the medical examination, the Brazilian defensive midfielder, who has been away from the field for several months, could make his comeback to competition before then. As a reminder, his current club must play no less than six matches between now and June 30 and his coach António Oliveira seems determined to restart it. “As soon as I have the opportunity (to reinstate him), I will. (Gabriel Moscardo) is a quality player, who has obviously been out for a long time and I can’t put him in the team because he’s not up to standard. Now (his entries) will be progressive, to give him minutes and a competitive rhythm, but he’s someone I’m counting on.”assured the technician.

Good news for the 1m85 right-hander who will not, however, call his future into question. Indeed, if certain local sources, starting with information from the Identidade Corinthiana fans site, recently indicated that the young auriverde could see his loan extended with the São Paulo club, we are able to tell you that the Brazilian nugget will indeed arriving at PSG at the end of the month. Under contract until June 2028 with the French champions, Moscardo will therefore be present in mid-July for the resumption of training with the Rouge et Bleu first team. It now remains to be seen how Luis Enrique will use his new protégé, who has not played since December 2023 and a defeat against Sport Club Internacional (1-2).
