PSG are reportedly very close to pulling off a very nice move in this summer transfer window.
Less than a week before the resumption of Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain has received some very good news. Coveted by the capital club and Bayern Munich, Desiré Doué has decided to join the French champions next season, according to several sources (The TeamRMC Sport or even Fabrizio Romano).
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder had assured that he would make his decision after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and that is now done. The silver medallist announced his choice to join PSG to all parties. It is now up to the Parisian leaders to find common ground with Stade Rennais regarding the transfer fee.
The positions of PSG and Rennes have come closer
According to the daily newspaper The Parisiana meeting held at the beginning of last week between the decision-makers of PSG and Rennes to try to finalize the file. If no agreement was reached, the positions of the two clubs have come closer. As a reminder, the residents of Roazhon Park were expecting no less than 50 million euros (excluding bonuses) to sell their nugget still under contract until June 2026.
A priority in the Parisian transfer window, just like the Portuguese Joao Neves, Désiré Doué was seduced by the speech of Luis Enrique, who particularly appreciates the French player, just like Luis Campos and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. The president of the Red and Blue would have even taken the matter in hand personally.
