Victorious in the Coupe de France final against OL (1-2), Kylian Mbappé said goodbye to PSG this Saturday evening in Lille. A seven-year adventure in Paris ended with a new title, his 15th in the Parisian jersey. Indeed, the Bondyn striker announced on May 10 his intention not to renew his contract with PSG but without giving the identity of his future club – even if Real Madrid will obviously be his future destination. He explains the reasons for this wait in the mixed zone in Lille this Saturday:

“I already think that the least I could do was to say goodbye and finish well with my club. There is a trophy, I think there is a time for everything. I will announce my club in due time. I think I will in a few days. Before the Blues? I don’t know yet, there are still some details. The most important thing was to finish well here, no matter what happened. The importance was to give the full measure of farewell to the club, to give one last trophy, the last sensations, the last emotions. This is what happened, I’m very happy”
