PSG – LOSC: probable line-ups

Last dress rehearsal before the big meeting of the Champions League. PSG hosts LOSC this evening at the Parc des Princes (9 p.m.) on the occasion of the 21st day of Ligue 1. A meeting against one of the best teams in the championship which will allow Luis Enrique’s men to know where they are before facing Real Sociedad next Wednesday, in the round of 16 first leg. The Spanish coach had promised several weeks ago that his team would be better during this period. This is the moment of truth.

It is also about protecting the body and limiting the risk of injury. Lilian Brassier’s gesture on Kylian Mbappé on Wednesday evening in the Coupe de France reminds us that the competition leaves no moment of respite. There should therefore be some changes on the Parisian side this evening. If Donnarumma will indeed start, Danilo would team up as a hinge with Lucas Hernandez, back from suspension, leaving Marquinhos to rest. On the wings, Hakimi and Beraldo are expected.

Mbappé present in the eleven?

In the middle too we risk seeing some changes. Vitinha would continue in the eleven, while Ugarte would make his return. To support them, Luis Enrique would have decided to start Zaire-Emery, this time removing Fabian Ruiz from the lineup. Finally up front, there is THE great unknown around Kylian Mbappé. Retained in the group despite his sore ankle, the striker will undoubtedly appear on the pitch at some point but when? At kick-off or during the match? We are leaning more towards the second option since Dembélé, Kolo Muani and Barcola should start.

Opposite, there will be no surprises in the goal with the presence of Chevalier, still excellent against OL in the Coupe de France, even if he was unable to avoid his team’s defeat. He would be protected by a 4-man defense composed from right to left of Tiago Santos, Yoro, Alexsandro, whose presence remains uncertain due to a somewhat poor physique (he would then be replaced by the rookie Fernandes), and Ismaily. In this 4-2-3-1, the Bentaleb-André pair would act as a double-pivot, leaving Zhegrova, Gomes and Gudmundsson responsible for offensive animation. Up front, Paulo Fonseca could have a little surprise in store for us with the start of Yaziçi rather than David.
