This is the news that has been stirring passions in France for nearly 48 hours. Against all expectations, Adrien Rabiot is going to join OM. A surprising signing given that the 29-year-old midfielder, a regular in the French team, was courted by the best European clubs this summer. In addition, his past as a player trained at PSG was still fresh in people’s memories.

Welcomed with great fanfare by the Parisian supporters, Rabiot was booed by the Parisian fans who promised him war during their next match. A betrayal that did not go down well with Marquinhos either. Present at a press conference on Tuesday, the Parisian captain displayed a closed face when a journalist asked him to react to Rabiot’s arrival in Marseille. To respond, the Brazilian cracked a “No comments” which says it all. The next Classic (October 27) promises to be exciting!
