PSG: Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has made his dream come true

The flame continues its journey in Île-de-France, a few days before the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and crisscrossed the streets of Essonne on Monday. For the occasion, the president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, was present to carry the Olympic flame under a crowd of spectators and PSG supporters, who chanted his name, as well as songs from the capital club.

After carrying the flame for 500 meters, the PSG boss spoke with the public and took the opportunity to take a few selfies and sign autographs. “I am very proud. When I was a little boy, I dreamed of carrying the Olympic flame. When I was an athlete and I played tennis, I always had this dream. It is extraordinary to be here, in this region (…) I did not know that people loved me so much. It does not make sense.
