Rachel Zegler and Kit Connor have officially opened on Broadway! The young actors just made their Broadway debuts in the brand new production of Romeo + Juliet, which opened on Thursday (October 24) at the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City. Rachel and Kit are playing the star-crossed lovers in a modern adaptation of the classic Shakespeare play. THR notes the show is for the “high-energy, TikTok-generation.” The outlet reported that the “standout of this cast is Connor, who invests Romeo with such innocence, impetuousness, romantic ecstasy and lacerating sorrow he breaks your heart.” Make sure to check out all of the production photos to get an inside look at the Broadway play.
