While the actor basks in its success, he is all set to work on his next big release, i.e. Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. While Ranbir Kapoor is all set to start the shoot of Ramayana in March, reports are rife that he is currently working on his diction and demeanour to effortlessly play Lord Rama.
Ranbir Kapoor undergoes extensive preparation for Ramayana
The Nitesh Tiwari directed magnum-opus is touted to be one of the biggest projects coming out in Indian Cinema. To make sure everything is perfect, the makers are leaving no stone unturned and is doing ample homework. According to the reports, Ranbir has already been put on to a diction expert who will ensure that his dialogue delivery aligns with the director’s vision. They claim there’s also a special emphasis on costumes.

A source close to the actor stated India Today, “Ranbir has a certain baritone and a way of speaking his lines. It is symbolic and if you have even closed your eyes, you can recognise a dialogue purely based on Ranbir’s voice. In Ramayana, Nitesh wants to make sure he sounds different from the characters he’s played in the past. Being a versatile actor, he is enjoying this process of trying something new.”
It is to be noted that several reports had earlier stated how Ranbir has decided to quit alcohol and meat to essay the role of Lord Ram.
About Ramayana
Talking about other cast of Ramayan, Sai Pallavai is expected to essay the role of Sita while KGF fame Yash will play Ravan. As per recent reports, Sunny Deol has gived nod to play Hanuman. While Lara Dutta has also signed the dotted lines for role of Kaikeyi. The film is expected to go on floors by the middle or second half of this year.
Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming movies
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is also gearing up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War. Touted to be a romantic-drama, the movie also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles. It is set for Christmas 2025 release.
