Hojlund also played a key role in the opener as he assisted Marcus Rashford after just minutes before doubling his side's advantage.

As a result, the striker has scored and assisted for the second Premier League match in row after his previous efforts against Tottenham.

He is also the youngest player to do so too, with Hojlund achieving this feat at the age of 20 years and 362 days.

Club legend Ronaldo was the last star to hold the title when he scored and assisted against Watford and then Tottenham in 2007.

The Portuguese legend did so aged 21 years and 363 days but this has now been eclipsed by one of United's latest rising stars.

Hojlund signed for the club in a £72million deal in the summer but has found life tough in the Premier League since then.

Despite scoring five goals in the Champions League, he netted his first league goal at the 15th time of asking in their win against Aston Villa.

He has now found the back of the net in his last three Premier League outings which suggests that he's finally finding his feet.

Hojlund sits on nine goals in 27 appearances across all competitions so far this season, with his latest at Wolves proving key.

Rashford put United in front before his Danish teammate scored in what was emerging to be a comfortable win for the visitors.

Pablo Sarabia netted a penalty before Scott McTominay made it 3-1, only for Max Kilman and Pedro Neto to send Wolves level late on.

However, Kobbie Mainoo scored in the seventh minute of stoppage-time with a fine stunning goal to hand United all three points.
