Spanish legend Raul Gonzalez has opposed a return to any of the clubs where he played as a player.

Real Madrid Castilla coach Raul has ruled out a return to Schalke, with the Gelsenkirchen club keen to bring their former striker back to Germany as their new boss this week.

But Raul has made it clear to his interlocutors that he remains loyal to Real Madrid Castilla this season. The former striker is in no hurry to change air, and he feels very comfortable within the Casa Blanca.

Raul doesn’t want to take any risks

According to media outlet Relevo, Raul also believes that accepting the Schalke job would be too risky for his first position in top-flight football.

As a reminder, Raul has been at the helm of Castilla since 2019. This is a position that Zinedine Zidane also held before taking charge of the Merengue first team. This may also be the trajectory that the 4e top scorer in the history of the Champions League.
