Barcelona have a few ways out of their financial trouble, including pulling all the levers they want, or winning multiple trophies — most of all the Champions League, that will increase revenue quite a bit.

None quite as impactful and efficient as selling players, though. With a young team stacked to the brim in multiple positions, the blaugranes can, in theory, offload some of these talents, albeit sacrificing their sporting project.

While letting go of some established players such as Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Ronald Araujo, and others, may be difficult, Barcelona also have a few stars in their youth side that are attracting interest from across Europe.

One of these players is 19-year-old Mika Faye. Plying his trade with Barcelona Atletic, he was signed from NK Kustosija for just €1.5 million. His market value has sextupled since then.

As per a report by Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have received an official offer worth €8-9 million from RC Lens for Faye. The French side want to loan in the teenager, with an obligation to buy for the quoted price.

While the decision is entirely up to Barcelona, their stance over the Senegalese star has been clear for months now. All offers have been rejected so far, with the hopes of integrating him into the first-team next season.

As a left-footed athletic centre-back, Faye has a very unique profile, which is highly in demand with several top clubs across Europe, that want to implement a comfortable ball playing style for their team.

On top of that, the teenager is also a skilled set-piece taker and has scored a free-kick for Atletic this season. While not entirely unheard of for a centre-back, especially as part of the new generation, his ceiling is considered quite high.
