Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to offer Dani Carvajal a new contract.
That’s according to a recent report from leading transfer journalist and CaughtOffside columnist Fabrizio Romano, who claims the recently crowned 15 times Champions League winners are set to open contract talks with Carvajal once the futures of Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez have been confirmed.
With Modric and Vazquez expected to sign one-year extensions, Carvajal, 32, whose deal expires next summer, is also in line to remain in Spain’s capital.

The 32-year-old’s vast experience and elite-level mentality sees him one of Carlo Ancelotti’s most trusted and valuable players — and it’s not just in defence that the Leganes-born right-back has excelled — with his most recent game-winning contributions coming in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund last month before scoring for Spain in their EUROs group opener against Croatia last weekend.

While news of Madrid’s plans to offer their number two a new deal will please Los Blancos fans, there will be some changes to the side’s back line ahead of next season.
One player who looks set to move on is centre-back Nacho. The 34-year-old Spaniard has been linked with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia’s Pro League although a deal has yet to be agreed.
