This risks being one of the soap operas of the summer. Already engaged in long negotiations since last winter, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have been unable to agree on the recruitment of Alphonso Davies (23 years old). The Canadian only has one year left on his contract in Bavaria (2025) and wants to leave the club this summer. Bayern have warned him for many months: either he extends his contract with them, or he will be sold this summer. According to information from RelevoReal Madrid will not be able to go beyond a certain price.

To secure the services of the left back, the Madrilenians are ready to put 40 million euros on the table. Given the player’s contractual situation and his average season between injuries and poor performances, the Spanish champions would even like to negotiate around 30-35 million euros. Alphonso Davies, who has a proposal of 13 million euros gross per year to renew his contract at Bayern, has already given his agreement to Real. His transfer could lead to another, Théo Hernandez being expected to join Bayern Munich in the event of the Canadian’s departure.
