A Spanish journalist estimated this Saturday that the arrival of Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid was no longer a top priority.

Since the start of January and the opening of the winter transfer window, the future of Kylian Mbappé is at the center of all discussions. Under contract with the Paris Saint Germain until June 2024, the French international is now free to discuss with the club of his choice to join this summer. Obviously, the club that comes back the most is the real Madridwho could come up with a new and final offer for the 25-year-old.

A new Real Madrid

But in the Spanish capital, the French striker no longer seems to be completely unanimous, partly due to the (too) long wait that his transfer has generated for several years. An endless soap opera which forced the Merengues to find their happiness differently, with the emergence of young talents like Vinicius, Rodrygo and Valverde but also the arrival of their new nugget Jude Bellingham.

Without Mbappé?

For Marc Ruiz, journalist at A.S., this new generation is sufficient at Real and the arrival of Mbappé is no longer as essential as it may have been in the past. In an article published this Saturday, the Spanish journalist praised at length the qualities of Vinicius Junior, who had a difficult start to the season but is gradually returning to his best level. He explains in particular that the Brazilian is part of a species of players in danger of disappearing, wingers capable of destabilizing their counterpart with a dribble or an acceleration, and believes that he must now be at the center of the Madrid project , as well as Jude Bellingham, whose arrival and success symbolizes this “new Real Madrid”. He then concluded by saying that the arrival of Kylian Mbappé was “no longer so important”.
