Former Real Sociedad and Turkey player Nihat Kahveci is frustrated to see Arda Guler struggling at Real Madrid.
Nihat insists Guler should be allowed to leave Real Madrid on loan in January. He said in an interview with AS: “ I pray for him, that he can show his immense talent. He is a very high class player and he likes to be a leader on the pitch. He needs to play to develop. Spending so much time on the bench is not good for him. If (Carlo) Ancelotti gives him continuity, he will go further and he will progress spectacularly. I am convinced of it.”
“Real must trust Arda Guler”
“He will go as far as he wantshe continued. If they let him, he will play much better than he has so far because one of his virtues is to never settle and always want to improve. We already know that it is not easy to succeed in Madrid because the demands are maximum and you always have to win, but they have to trust Güler because he will respond on the pitch. He can be Madrid’s leader in the future because his character is strong and he is never afraid. He has a great personality.”
Nihat concluded by indicating that this situation cannot continue: “He’s surrounded by superstars, but he needs to play more. It’s a gem that needs to grow. It will not disappoint. For us, he is a national pride. If Madrid don’t want him, let him be loaned to Real Sociedad. In Anoeta, he will make people happy”. Arda Guler will probably not say the opposite, he who would have already made the decision to move in January if his case does not evolve.
