WrestleMania 40 will forever be known as the event where Cody Rhodes triumphed over Roman Reigns and finished his story by becoming the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
One of the standout accomplishments of WrestleMania 40 was its monumental gate, breaking previous records by an astounding 78%. Staged at Lincoln Financial Field over two nights, the event drew an impressive 145,298 attendees from all 50 states and 64 countries worldwide, cementing its stature as a global phenomenon.
According to PWInsider, the reason for WrestleMania 40: Behind the Curtain’s documentary being delayed is due to the amount of footage recorded last week.
”WWE’s WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain documentary did not debut yesterday on YouTube as announced, but there is a good reason for it, PWInsider.com has learned.
The word making the rounds is that due to the sheer amount of footage that the company shot over the course of the weekend, they are still assembling the film.
We are told it will be released as soon as they have locked in the final cut.”
Even The Rock revealed the incredible records set by WrestleMania 40. Nevertheless, the event was truly historic in many ways and that is what truly matters, especially after the documentary drops.
