Reese Witherspoon reacted to the online rumors that she had a falling out with Kate Winslet. If you were unaware, the 48-year-old Oscar winner recently revealed that a British actress no longer speaks to her after she playfully “roasted her” while giving a speech at an awards show. Based on the evidence that Reese provided, it appeared that she was referencing Kate. Back in 2007, Reese did give a speech about Kate at the BAFTA/LA Cunard Britannia Awards. A transcript of the speech seemed to line up with Reese‘s recent recollection, which led fans to believe that the two actresses had bad blood. We laughed about this stupidity. Please do not believe the internet. We are good friends and have never had any falling out,” Reese wrote to her followers. She continued on a second slide, adding, “This is completely UNTRUE …so silly!” It is unclear who Reese might have been referring to. However, it’s clearly not Kate Winslet!
