IMG Credit: WWEOut and in. There are several people who are part of a wrestling broadcast who do not actually wrestle but play important roles for the promotion. This includes the broadcast team and it can be a big deal when someone on the team is changed out for someone else. That is what happened this week in a rapid fire change which brought back a rather familiar face.

On Monday, Samantha Irvin announced that she is leaving WWE, effective immediately. Irvin did not give a reason for her departure but did thank several in WWE for her time in the company. According to Fightful Select by way of 411mania.com, Irvin was praised “before and after her announcement” and was described as someone whose “presence made the day better.” Former ring announcer Lilian Garcia returned to the company and served in the role this week. There is no word on if Garcia will stay in the role going forward.

Irvin was quite good. Check out what she did in WWE and her replacement:
Opinion: This is one of those things that happens every so often but it is also rather disappointing to see Irvin leave. She had so much energy and passion for her performances but if this is what she wants to do, it is the right move. At the end of the day, her fiance is working elsewhere and maybe she doesn’t want to be away from him as much. Either way, Garcia is a welcome return and things could be far worse.
