Angel Garza could be a free agent this summer.

Last month, Lucha Libre Online initially reported that Garza had a few months left on his contract. In addition, it was noted that “at least 5 mainstream wrestling companies” were interested in him, two of which were in the United States. The outlet noted that Garza was very happy in WWE, who will have a chance to sign him to a contract renewal.

Now, Fightful (via Fightful Select) is reporting that Garza’s contract will expire on August 1. In addition, Garza and WWE are negotiating, and an offer has been made.

Garza has been with WWE since April 2019. He is a former WWE 24/7 Champion, and has primarily worked as a heel and teamed with his cousin, Humberto Carrillo. Recently, Garza has been aligned with Legado Del Fantasma and performing on the SmackDown brand.

Prior to his time in WWE, he worked for AAA (Mexico) and TNA as Garza Jr.
