Carmella is no longer with WWE, as her contract expired.
Carmella has been absent from the ring since a live event in March 2023. She had been sidelined for months, as she was pregnant and she welcomed her baby into the world in November 2023. After giving birth, Carmella subsequently noted that she was battling drop foot.
Masked J of PW Nexus first reported that Carmella’s contract had expired, and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) confirmed it.

Carmella had been with WWE since 2013. After a memorable in NXT, she joined SmackDown in 2016. She won the Women’s Money in the Bank match and went on to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Carmella also won the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal in 2021, and she captured the Women’s Tag Team Championship with Queen Zelina (Zelina Vega).
