Another WWE release from Friday evening has been revealed today as it’s been reported that Giovanni Vinci has been released.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Giovanni Vinci has been released by WWE.
A former member of Imperium, Giovanni Vinci’s WWE career took a sharp turn last April when his tag team partner and stablemate Ludwig Kaiser turned on him following a loss to The New Day.
Vinci was quickly moved to SmackDown via the WWE Draft and the two men never got to settle their differences on-screen. Vinci would be repackaged with a series of vignettes before losing back-to-back matches to Apollo Crews, never to be seen on WWE programming again.
