Mauro Ranallo could potentially be heading back to the world of professional wrestling.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Major League Wrestling has been in talks with Ranallo about possibly appearing for the company. Sapp writes that it is not a done deal, but MLW is interested in bringing him in. Ranallo has history with MLW owner Court Bauer, as they have worked together in the past.
Ranallo had a memorable run with WWE; he was a commentator on WWE SmackDown before he moved to NXT. After his departure in 2020, Ranallo has mostly focused on his work in combat sports, but he made an appearance at IMPACT Rebellion 2021. There, he called the main event.
Mauro Ranallo has also worked for NJPW, as he called the action on their English broadcasts in 2015.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
