A new report provides an update on the controversy surrounding PCO and TNA.
PCO smashed his TNA Digital Media Championship at The People vs. GCW on January 19th. He started to cut a promo about TNA before he was cut off. The situation was reportedly legitimate, as PCO’s actions were not part of a TNA storyline. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that PCO was supposed to wrap up with TNA at their television tapings in San Antonio, and his contract expired at the end of 2024. He also noted that PCO was not expected back in TNA.
In an update, Sapp writes that TNA as a company was “livid” over the situation. Company sources claimed that PCO had a replica title, and they had the actual championship. However, sources close to PCO denied this claim. Per Sapp, PCO was set to lose the TNA Digital Media Championship and finish up with TNA at the live iMPACT tapings on January 23rd. It was also noted that TNA sources were of the belief that he was upset that his deal was not renewed.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
