Man Like DeReiss worked the TNA taping in Orlando on February 22nd, and the match reportedly was a tryout.
Corey Brennan and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per sources in the UK scene, Man Like DeReiss’ appearance was actually a tryout for him. Brennan reported earlier this week that DeReiss had interest from WWE, and talent in the company were pushing for them to sign him. The report notes that he is not yet signed by TNA.
One source said that TNA would be “nuts” to not sign DeReiss, and he was “good to go.”
DeReiss is mostly featured in the UK for PROGRESS and other companies. He has also wrestled for GCW and other promotions in the United States.
