The situation with multiple CMLL stars not being able to work in the United States is reportedly sorting itself out.
As previously reported, 19 CMLL stars were in danger of losing their visas, and thus their ability to work in the United States, due to an issue with Full Blown Pro Wrestling, as the promotion had been helping with their visas.
In the Daily Update, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reported that the situation was “sorting itself out”. He noted that, for some of the talent involved, it could be sorted out as soon as this week. Meltzer named Blue Panther, Templario, Soberano Jr., and other stars as key examples of those who were impacted. The report also noted that talent who appeared on AEW programming, including Mistico, were not affected.
Additionally, Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez talked about this situation on Wrestling Observer Radio. Melter reiterated that those who had worked with AEW were not impacted. He also pointed out that RUSH returned to AEW on the February 27 episode of AEW Collision and stated that he had been dealing with a visa issue. (H/t Ian Carey of F4WOnline.com)
