Will Ospreay is All Elite, but when will we see him on AEW Dynamite in 2024?
Last year at AEW Revolution, Will Ospreay signed with All Elite Wrestling ahead of his contract expiring with New Japan Pro-Wrestling at the end of January. But with that date rapidly approaching, when is Ospreay expected to join the AEW roster?
In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that Ospreay is scheduled for AEW Revolution in March and will become a regular on TV starting in February.
Will Ospreay faced Josh Alexander on TNA IMPACT last night
Ospreay got to live out of one of his wrestling dreams last night by competing inside a TNA Wrestling ring for the first and likely the last time.
The Aerial Assassin recently sat down with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard to talk about this match and what competing for TNA means to him.
“It’s definitely something that I thought so much about and even though it was IMPACT when I first went, it was IMPACT when I returned, it still was, for me, in my eyes, TNA,” Ospreay said. “But I want the letters, I want the three letters attached to my name. So having the career that I have had and finally getting to perform in the place that made me want to be a wrestler, it’s gratifying.
“I believe this is probably going to be my last one. Like if I was to gamble on it, because I never want to say never anymore, it just sometimes always pans out differently,” Ospreay explained. “But right now, I’m going to say this will be my last appearance for TNA — my first and my only appearance for TNA.”
