WWE reportedly believes that Daniel Garcia has decided to stay with AEW.
AEW star Daniel Garcia’s contract was reportedly set to expire in October. He was written off TV when MJF attacked him on the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. During his time away, fans buzzed about his future, as WWE was said to be interested in him. The uncertainty regarding his next move continued even after AEW All In, where Garcia returned and cost MJF his match against Will Ospreay.
Dave Meltzer reported an update in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He wrote that WWE sources believe that Daniel Garcia has decided to stay with AEW, even after WWE attempted to recruit him.
Garcia has been signed to AEW since 2021. He has had a prominent run as a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society, and he has held the ROH Pure Championship. Garcia is set to face MJF at AEW All Out.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
