According to a source there was an all employee meeting today at WWE HQ in Stamford hosted by Mark Shapiro. I’m told the biggest news to come out of the meeting is that the WWE Performance Center will be moving to Las Vegas in the near future.
— WrestleVotes (@WrestleVotes) August 27, 2024Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer then tweeted that Las Vegas would be a developmental location, and it may be “replacing Orlando or in addition.”
Waiting for more from WWE but Shapiro did a town hall meeting in Stamford and Vegas will be a developmental location. May be replacing Orlando or in addition.
— Dave Meltzer (@davemeltzerWON) August 27, 2024Bryan Alvarez tweeted an update for his subscribers on X, in which he wrote that “Performance Center to Las Vegas:” was true. Alvarez noted that talent was shocked, and nobody knew it was coming. He also wrote that very few were aware of the move. Per Alvarez, many staffers were said to be furious.
