Rey Fenix says he’s better than ever.
Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Rey Fenix had been sidelined since the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. On the April 27 episode of AEW Collision, he made his return and defeated The Beast Mortos.
In a post on Twitter, AEW shared a clip in which Fenix commented on his return.
“I am so happy, I feel so excited for any opponent,” Rey Fenix said. “Tonight, I faced a real beast. He’s stronger, but not better than me. I come back, and I come better than ever because I am the man of 1,000 lives.”
Fenix is also a former AEW International Champion and AEW World Trios Champion, among other accolades. He is set to compete at the House of Glory event on May 5.
