Rhea Ripley is looking for revenge on Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam,
Rhea Ripley has been out of action since April, and her injury forced her to relinquish the WWE Women’s World Championship. She will challenge Liv Morgan for the title at WWE SummerSlam. Heading into the bout, Ripley says that fans can expect brutality.
“Expect brutality,” said Ripley while speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. “That’s because Mami’s back. We’ve come a long way since tagging together,” said Ripley. “That doesn’t mean I won’t destroy her on Saturday.”
Ripley also offered a brief preview of the match by saying that she would brutalize the champion.
“We’re going to get in that ring and I’m going to brutalize her,” Rhea Ripley said. “Whether she can do the same to me, we’ll see. I can’t wait.”
Liv Morgan: I’m Just Entering My Prime
Rhea Ripley expressed her confidence ahead of WWE SummerSlam. However, Liv Morgan has made it clear that she has never been better. Speaking with Sports Illustrated, she discussed her current run.
“It’s been 10 years to get here, and we haven’t even scratched the surface yet,” Liv Morgan said. “This is what I always hoped and dreamed for–and that’s why the time off when I was injured was so significant. It was important for my self-esteem and to re-fall in love with wrestling to come back in my best form. I’m just entering my prime. If you don’t believe me, just watch.”
