Rhea Ripley had to address some important and unhappy news to start off the April 15 episode of Raw. Ripley had to relinquish the Women’s World Championship, a title she has held for 380 days due to an arm injury.
Coming out to the ring and making the announcement, she blamed the injury on Liv Morgan’s revenge tour. She says she will be out for a few months but once she returns she will be out for blood regardless of who has the title. Ripley followed up by saying she was going to find Morgan and the back and take care of her but Morgan’s music hit. The two were held back by security guards with one even getting a headbutt from Mami.
It has not been confirmed at the time of this writing on how and when a new champion will be crowned.
