Lorenz Ferdinand is aiming to become the fourth member of his family to play in the Premier League.
Rio Ferdinand’s eldest son has signed with New Era Global Sports Management, joining his dad and uncle Anton at the agency, as per the Daily Mail.
New Era also represents Everton duo Ben Godfrey and Michael Keane as well as former players working in the media such as Ferdinand, Mick McCarthy, Harry Redknapp and Robbie Savage.
The 17-year-old goalkeeper signed with Brighton in 2022 and has been playing for their academy teams ever since.
Lorenz announced the news of his move to New Era sports agency with an Instagram post on Thursday, which included images of himself with company chiefs, his father and his stepmother Kate.
New Era was founded back in 2007 by ex-professional footballers Jamie Moralee and Peter Smith.
