The Watch List looks at what matches you should be watching, and they are recommended by today’s professional wrestling stars.

WrestleZone spoke with Ronda Rousey, who picked two matches that best represented what she wanted to bring to pro wrestling. Rousey said she was split between her in-ring debut at WrestleMania, and her Survivor Series showdown with Charlotte Flair.

“I think it’s a tie between my debut at WrestleMania 34. It was me and Kurt Angle versus Steph [McMahon] and Triple H. I feel like that’s a tag team classic now,” Rousey explained. “That is what really just made me fall absolutely head over heels with it from the get-go.

“Then on the other side of the spectrum, I would say, me and Charlotte at Survivor Series when we walked out to a completely hostile audience that wanted to sh*t all over the match. We put on such a good performance that we had them chanting ‘this is awesome’ by the end of it.”

The other end of the spectrum

Ronda Rousey says the WrestleMania match was setting her up for success. However, the match with Flair was successful despite having the odds against them.

“I think me and Charlotte Survivor Series was the exact opposite. It was everything stacked against us. No time to prepare, really very minimal outside help and a hostile crowd. We shoved it down their throats and made them enjoy it anyway,” Rousey explained, “Even though those ungrateful sh*ts booed me on the way out. I know for a fact that they were enjoying themselves even though they didn’t want to by the end of it. So I’m very, very proud of that one as well.”
