RR claims there is a connection between BRS and BJP

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy campaigned for Peddapalli Lok Sabha candidate Gaddam Vamsi Krishna in Dharmapuri on Friday. Reminding Siricilla voters that former Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao proposed a change to the Indian Constitution, Revanth Reddy alleged that KCR had a secret deal with the BJP and wasn’t speaking out against them. He addressed a gathering in Siricilla, alongside party’s Karimnagar contestant Velichala Rajender Rao, criticizing KCR and KTR for not questioning the BJP government on important issues.

Revanth Reddy accused KCR of being silent on scrapping reservations for SCs, STs, and BCs, claiming that KCR strongly supports changing the Constitution. He questioned Vinod Kumar’s campaign efforts and accused KCR of making deals to ensure BJP wins in certain areas. Promising to resolve issues for handloom weavers in Siricilla, Revanth Reddy also criticized KCR and KTR for creating a massive debt for the state.

The CM pledged to release Rs 50 crore for the welfare of handloom weavers after the election code is lifted and vowed to fight for waiving 5% GST on textiles. Claiming that Telangana faced neglect from the Centre for nearly a decade, Revanth Reddy alleged that funds meant for the state were diverted to Gujarat’s development.
