Some of these moves are telegraphed in advance, with a wrestler or promotion announcing that someone will be moving. That does not mean the destination is know though, and now we have an update on a previously reported rumor.
Earlier today, a story broke that New Japan’s Kazuchika Okada was expected to be moving to WWE in the near future. However, according to Fightful Select, sources in WWE, AEW and NJPW have described the report as “premature”. While Okada could still wind up in WWE, it is not confirmed at this point. New Japan has announced that Okada will be leaving the promotion in the coming months.
