Ryback pushes back.

In recent weeks, WWE has hosted double tapings of both WWE Raw and SmackDown, with more expected to take place through the holiday season. Naturally, this development has led some fans to raise complaints, as spoilers often surface online before the pre-taped shows officially air. Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback has responded to one of these fan criticisms, which called for WWE to “end these taped shows already.”

“So instead of spoiling it for yourself online, just enjoy the show. They work harder than any other form of sports or entertainment, year-round. Do everyone a favor – quit the whining over nothing and show some respect to the men and women who give you some sort of meaning to your pathetic life.”

Ryback’s main roster WWE run spanned six years (2010-2016), beginning with his alliance with The Nexus faction. Over the next five years, Ryback emerged as a regular fixture in WWE, challenging for a number of world titles and capturing WWE’s Intercontinental Championship. From 2013 until 2014, Ryback primarily teamed with Curtis Axel. Together, they were known as RybAxel.

In August 2016, Ryback officially departed from WWE.
