Samantha Irvin shocked many fans by announcing her departure from WWE just before this week’s Monday Night RAW. Her exit came as a surprise, with many finding it hard to believe she would leave the company. Reports indicated that Irvin informed WWE of her decision shortly before the show, but Irvin has now shut down such reports.

Following the unexpected announcement of Samantha Irvin’s departure from WWE, fans and insiders quickly began speculating about the reasons behind her exit. One of the biggest questions was whether she might be heading to AEW. Irvin’s husband Ricochet confirmed that this isn’t the case. He stated that Irvin has no plans to join AEW, putting those rumors to rest.

PWInsider recently reported that Samantha Irvin resigned from her position as a WWE ring announcer, with multiple sources claiming that she chose to step down and that WWE was informed of her decision earlier in the day, and it was not a case of her being released by the company.

”For the MANY of you who have asked, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources within the company that ring announcer Samantha Irvin resigned from her position. Irvin quit the company.  We are told WWE was made aware earlier today. It was not a case of her being released. As far as why Irvin opted to exit the company, that still has yet to be confirmed.”

Samantha Irvin clearly saw the aforementioned report as she took to Twitter and wasted no time in shooting it down, as she clarified that she had informed WWE of her wanting to leave the company months in advance.

”Months* before Raw”

We have also reported that Irvin had been contemplating this decision for some time in order to focus on her music career and that she will now be fully pursuing music, now that she is no longer part of WWE.
