After impressing the audience in films like Kedarnath, Simmba, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and more, Sara Ali Khan is now anticipating the release of her next, ‘Murder Mubarak.’ Slated for release on Netflix this Friday, the Homi Adajania directorial promises an intriguing blend of layered characters and a captivating mystery.
As the film’s release date draws closer, Sara has opened up about bonding with the director and how their meeting has helped her understand herself better.
Talking about working with filmmaker Homi Adajania for the first time, Sara Ali Khan said in a recent interview, “Honestly I think that, how everyone has been talking about Homie’s energy- all of that is there and true… but I think that the moments that are probably spent off the set with them, whether it was by the swimming pool or whether it was in these room sessions, I think he kind of reminded me that what I have as a human being is enough.”
Sara Ali Khan continued, “And I think, Homie sir for sure, but this entire cast has helped me to do that and be who I am, both on and off camera and it came to me at an important and defining moment in my life and career, so am very very grateful.”
About Murder Mubarak
Based on Anuja Chauhan’s novel Club You To Death, the mystery-thriller is directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Aside from Sara Ali Khan, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, and more. It will release on Netflix on March 15.
