Al-Ittihad are reportedly plotting a move for Manchester United midfielder Casemiro.
So long as a replacement is identified and signed, United fans won’t lose any sleep over a potential Casemiro exit. The Brazilian was a shadow of his former self last season and it’s time for the Reds to consider cashing in on the 32-year-old.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, the Saudi Pro League club are interested in Laurent Blanc as their new coach. Their transfer wish lists consists of players like Houssem Aouar, Moussa Diaby, and Marquinhos.
Meanwhile, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano claims Casemiro has attracted interest from several Saudi Pro League clubs.
🔴🇸🇦 Saudi Pro League clubs interest in Casemiro, still very strong as reported.
More will follow in the next days, still no formal proposals but genuine interest. ⤵️ https://t.co/pPqYzx7jtg

Casemiro’s sale would free up significant wages, providing United with more financial flexibility for the transfer market.
Hopefully, all parties can agree over the coming days. United need to sell more players.
The Reds have already sold one midfielder this summer after Donny van de Beek announced his move to Girona. On Wednesday, the Netherlands international wrote an emotional goodbye statement on social media.
