A photo of controversial Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky with operatives of the Nigerian Immigration Service after she allegedly tried to leave Nigeria for Benin Republic has surfaced on social media.
TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) earlier reports that Social media activist Martins Ortse, also known as VeryDarkMan, announced the arrest of a controversial crossdresser while on her way to escape from Nigeria to the Benin Republic.
According to VeryDarkMan via his Instagram on Monday morning, the transwoman was arrested at Seme Border Post while trying to leave the country.
In his words, “Bobrisky was arrested this morning at Seme Border Post on his way to escape to Benin Republic; he sent someone to help him sign his international passport and hid in the car, the Nigerian Immigration is currently holding him.”
This development comes weeks after VDM released an incriminating audio of Bobrisky claiming not to have spent his six-month jail term in Kirikiri prison due to the influence of his godfather.
Bobrisky also allegedly bribed Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with N15 million to have her money laundering charges dropped.
The revelation led to an investigative hearing by the House of Representatives. However, on Monday, the Federal Government investigative panel constituted for the controversy surrounding the jail sentence involving Bobrisky cleared the crossdresser of allegations surrounding her jail sentence.
