Just one year after his return to Seville, Sergio Ramos has decided to close the Andalusian chapter of his career.
It was not without emotion that the 38-year-old Spanish defender reconnected with his training club last summer, after two seasons spent in Paris. And yet here he is already on the departure.
Sevilla FC announced the news this Monday in a press release, “
thanking Sergio for the commitment, leadership and dedication he has shown this season, and wishing him the best for the future “.
Author of 28 matches for seven goals this season, Sergio Ramos did not wish to return for another year with a team which painfully hung on to the 14e La Liga place. Several MLS teams are now making eye contact with him in the United States, the person concerned not having decided a priori to hang up his crampons.
