Continuation of the 29th day of Serie A this Sunday evening. In great form since the ouster of José Mourinho, AS Roma welcomed a Sassuolo team in crisis, on the pitch at the Stadio Olimpico. While the first period was quite tough with very few chances and no shots on target from both sides, it was ultimately the Giallorossi who opened the scoring thanks to Lorenzo Pellegrini in the second act (50th). Enough to lock in the victory (1-0) with a minimum score.

In the ranking, AS Roma still remains in a good position in the Italian championship with this beautiful 5th place, while Sassuolo is still sinking a little further into the red zone with this worrying 19th position. The shadow of relegation looms larger than ever for them. Next weekend, the Giallorossi will travel to Lecce, while the Neroverdi will host Udinese, during the 30th Italian matchday.
