Lazio is reassured, but not too much either, before its duel against Bayern Munich on Wednesday in C1. Traveling to Sardinia to challenge Cagliari this Saturday, as part of the 24th day of Serie A, Maurizio Sarri’s players won 3-1 despite some scares. Well helped by Deiola’s own goal in the first period (26th, 0-1), the Biancocelesti hit the nail on the head in the 50th minute thanks to Ciro Immobile, scorer of his 6th goal of the season in the league (0 -2).

But a minute later, it was the Italian Gianluca Gaetano who sounded the revolt (51st, 1-2) by reducing the gap. If the heated moments intensified on Provedel’s goal, Felipe Anderson finally sealed the victory for his team (65th, 1-3). After three matches in a row without a victory, Lazio is breathing down its neck and moving up to 6th place. Cagliari is 19th.
