For the 20th day of Serie A, Napoli, ninth in the Italian championship, hosted Salernitana, bottom of the table. An unbalanced match on paper but Walter Mazzarri’s men were surprised shortly before the half-hour mark with a goal from Antonio Candreva (0-1, 29th). Trailing, the Partenopei finally reacted just before the break with a penalty converted by Matteo Politano (1-1, 45+4th). After the break, Napoli stumbled against the visitors’ defense but finally found the break in added time thanks to Amir Rrahmani (2-1, 90+6th).

In the other meeting at the start of the afternoon, Torino took to the Genoa pitch. Back to back after the first 45 minutes of play, the two teams were unable to decide between themselves after the locker room. Final score: 0-0. In the ranking, Naples moves up to 6th place, Salernitana still brings up the rear. For its part, Toro is in 10th place while Genoa is 12th.
