Manchester United have rejected a bid for Mason Greenwood, according to reports in Italy.

Greenwood has been transfer-listed this summer with United unlikely to reintegrate him into the first-team, but there is still doubt over his next destination.

An array of European clubs are reportedly interested in Greenwood, who spent last season on loan at Getafe.

One of those clubs is Lazio but they aren’t the only Serie A outfit trying to sign Greenwood.

Italian outfit La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Lazio have had their opening bid rejected by United.

The report adds that Lazio are unwilling to increase their offer of €20 million, which is £15m short of United’s asking price.

In a brazen move to pull the wool over United’s eyes, Lazio wll re-send the offer, adding that it will be valid until July 10.

United should tell Lazio to shove it

If €35m is the price, Lazio know what they have to do to see of interest from other clubs interested in signing Greenwood.

After having a €20m bid rejected for Greenwood, it’s a cheeky move from the Italians to re-submit the same offer – and I can only see it being rejected again.

Hopefully, a bigger club like Juventus places an offer that blows their rivals out of the water because we could do with the extra money for signings.
