Seth Rollins Confronts Cody Rhodes On WWE RAW

Cody Rhodes responded to The Rock’s offer on WWE RAW, and Seth Rollins interrupted him.

The Rock said he wanted Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ soul on the February 21st episode of WWE SmackDown. Rhodes then appeared on the February 24th episode of WWE RAW and discussed The Rock’s offer to make his dreams come true in exchange for Cody agreeing to be his champion. Rhodes highlighted his family including his late, great father Dusty Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes said that the offer was about everything that he would fight to get. Rhodes noted that The Rock said that he could have that without having to fight.

Seth Rollins Interupts Cody Rhodes

Seth Rollins interrupted and noted that they hadn’t been in the ring together since WrestleMania 40. He said he wasn’t there to talk about wanting to face him at WrestleMania 41. Instead, Rollins questioned what Cody Rhodes was thinking.

Rollins looked back on how they fought The Bloodline together. He said that the fact that Cody didn’t slap The Rock in the face was a slap in his own face. Rollins continued to question what Rhodes could gain from siding with The Rock. He said that if the title was too much of a burden for Cody, it wouldn’t be for him. Rhodes responded by saying that Rollins sounded judgmental. He said that Rollins’ soul might already be compromised, as he discussed how Rollins once sided with The Authority.

Rhodes emotionally highlighted how Rollins helped him win the world title. Rollins said he wasn’t there to judge Rhodes. Instead, he said he wanted to protect Rhodes from making the same mistakes that he did.

He told Rhodes he could make his own decision. As for himself, he said he aimed to win the Elimination Chamber, and he wanted to face the Cody Rhodes who dethroned Roman Reigns. Rollins then told Rhodes he was coming for his title.
