CM Punk and Seth Rollins have a long history as they truly have disdain for each other for good reason. After all, Rollins has many reasons to believe that CM Punk is still the same person who walked out on WWE back in 2014.

While speaking to Jackie Redmond, Seth Rollins revealed his doubts about CM Punk being a different person since his return to WWE. He said he wants to believe Punk has changed since leaving in 2014, but it’s hard to trust him. Rollins feels that Punk’s actions over the years show he might not have changed and could just be trying to fix his image.

Rollins noted that Punk has damaged his reputation and burned many bridges in recent years. While Punk seems more mature and polished in his WWE return, Rollins isn’t convinced. Even if Punk has truly changed, Rollins said he finds it difficult to forget the past and believe in the change.

I wanna believe that this guy’s a changed man, I wanna believe that he’s not the same dude that walked out on this company back in 2014. I want to believe those things so that I can root for him again. But he makes it really difficult, he makes it really difficult. Everything that he’s done has indicated to me that in no way has he changed, that it’s just this facade that he’s putting on to make people think that he’s changed. It’s like he needs to rehabilitate his image. Let’s be honest, he hasn’t had a great last four or five years, it has not been good for him, right? He’s burned a lot of bridges, his reputation has been kind of smeared in specific areas.

And I’m not gonna go into details on that, you can look that up yourself. But he comes back into WWE when it looks like all is lost and he puts on this show, right? He’s very good at that, he puts on the show, he’s mature, he’s a different guy, but I just don’t buy it. And I think even if it’s true, even if everything that he’s doing is not a show and he is a changed man and he’s a better person than he was when he left, I can’t move on.

As for CM Punk and Seth Rollins’ feud, they are finally set to face off against each other on the January 6 debut of Monday Night RAW on Netflix, in what is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated matches in recent memory. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see who will come out on top once and for all and bring the feud to an end.
