Lola Vice embarked on her journey to become WWE Superstar when she signed with the company in June 2022. Since then, she has emerged as a formidable presence in the wrestling world and Shawn Michaels has now addressed her growth and possible main roster call-up, as he made it clear he is in no rush to call up any NXT star.
While speaking during the NXT Heatwave media call, Shawn Michaels was asked about Lola Vice. Shawn Michaels emphasized his careful approach when discussing talent publicly. He acknowledged that while some individuals might appear ready for the main roster, there are often aspects they still need to refine behind the scenes. Michaels stated that it’s not just about having a high number of talents on the main roster but about ensuring they are truly ready to drive ratings and create revenue.
Michaels noted that Vice possesses all the attributes needed to become a main roster star but noted that she is still very new and young. Michaels pointed out that her potential is evident, making her a prime candidate for the main roster in the future. However, he prefers to take his time with talents to ensure they can excel once they make the transition, aiming for them to be more than just “main roster ready.”
Lola Vice is set to challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Heatwave on July 7th, so we will have to wait and see how she will fare in the match as it is certain there isn’t any rush to get her called up to the main roster.
