Shawn Michaels just hinted at what could be the next big thing in pro wrestling—a massive NXT vs. TNA crossover event.

In 2024, we’ve already seen TNA stars like Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry shake things up at major NXT events. Now, fans are buzzing about the possibility of an epic Worlds Collide showdown.

The Heartbreak Kid himself gave fans a peek behind the curtain during an interview with The Ringer, where he opened up about the relationship between NXT and TNA. Michaels teased that a crossover event could definitely be in the cards but warned that rushing things might not be the way to go.

“Those things are always possible,” Michaels said. “I look at this and hope it is a long-standing relationship. In my personal opinion, I feel that sometimes if you go to those things too soon, well, now you’ve gone through it and where do you go from there?” He emphasized that NXT is taking things slow, but the potential for a Worlds Collide event is very much alive. “We’re enjoying this partnership, and we’re seeing matchups we didn’t expect this soon. The future looks exciting, but we want to go slower as opposed to faster.”

Michaels made it clear that in WWE, especially in NXT, nothing is ever off the table. The possibility of a full-blown NXT vs. TNA crossover event is real, but it’s all about timing and letting the partnership grow naturally.

Fans of both promotions have been loving the crossover action so far, and with these promising hints from HBK, the prospect of a huge event like Worlds Collide could be closer than we think.

What do you think? Is it time for NXT and TNA to collide on a grand scale, or should they keep building the partnership step by step? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
